Make sure you check out the link above, they explain it so much better than I ever could.  (Make sure to watch the video, too.)  One of my favorite features of this watch is the safety button.  I work out alone.  All.  The.  Time.  Could a safety button that alerts emergency personnel and my family of my location be a handy feature?  Um... is the sky blue?    It's one of those things you hope you never need, but yeah, I could get nabbed, hit by a car, get heat stroke, have a medical emergency, blah, blah, blah...
Of course, the fact that this watch looks awesome doesn't hurt, either ;)

A couple awesome things about Kickstarter:  1) It's an all or nothing model.  Not only does Bia not get anything if they don't reach their goal, but you aren't billed for your pledge either.  Let me repeat, you only get billed for your pledge if Bia reaches their fundraising goal.  So no risk in investing in a project that doesn't meet their goal and you're just SOL.  2)  It's reward-based!  You can absolutely invest just a dollar or two and your reward will be Bia's thankfulness that you invested what you could.  BUT, at higher levels there are varying rewards...including one of these beauties on your wrist when they hit production in Spring 2013!

Will I be putting my money where my mouth is?  YES.  I don't know at what level yet, since I haven't discussed it with my hubby but I LOVE this project!





Now GO to Kickstarter and help Bia get to market with whatever funds you can pledge.  Can't commit to $250? (It would get you a sweet GPS watch...just sayin') , pledge what you can.
Also, SHARE with your active friends and family.  Let's get this AMAZING project to market  (i.e. ON MY WRIST!) as soon as possible!
